‘Disney Infinity 2.0’ Finally Brings Disney And Marvel Characters To Android
It took a while, but “Disney Infinity 2.0” is finally available for Android users everywhere. The toy box simulator has previously been released for current-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Wii U, but has also been available for iOS devices. Now Android users will be able to mix the worlds of Disney and Marvel together through the actual figures and the video games.
“Disney Infinity 2.0” is mostly known for bringing Marvel characters to the mix, as the first version of “Disney Infinity” only had characters from various Disney and Pixar films like “The Incredibles" and Pirates of the Caribbean.” The sequel added Marvel characters from the Disney XD cartoons like “Ultimate Spider-Man’ and “Avengers Assemble.”
A report from Eurogamer confirms that users who have the other versions of “Disney Infinity 2.0” can easily transfer their data to the “Disney Infinity 2.0” Android version. So if anyone is trying to finish the story missions of Baymax or Star-Lord, they can easily transfer their Xbox One or PS4 data to their Android phone.
Fans who simply want to try the game out without having to shell out some cash for the “Disney Infinity” figurines can choose between three random characters that rotate on the daily. If a user wants to get used to a character’s specific set of abilities, he or she will have to buy one of the many “Disney Infinity” figurines available on most toy or video game stores.
The android version of “Disney Infinity 2.0” seems to only have the free-roaming toy box mode, according to a report from the Android Police. This mode allows players to mix different characters with different playgrounds, so Elsa from “Frozen” can visit S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and Spider-Man can swing around San Fransokyo from the “Big Hero 6” movie.
“Disney Infinity 2.0” is a free download for both iOS and Android devices, with up to $60 of in-app purchases, should the mobile user decide to get them. The console versions of the game most recently received their last update before the inevitable ‘Disney Infinity 3.0” comes out, which features Falcon and Loki as new characters.
