DLC Dues and Sequels: 'Revengeance' Story DLC, Dead Cyborg 2, Sleeping Dogs DLC
Metal Gear Rising:
DLCs are still on the way, starting with the DLC-packed-to-brimming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and a third hit for Sleeping Dogs.
A pay-if-you-want set-up for the Dead Cyborg sequel is also up, with a few modifications based on the last game.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gets 2 more DLC packs
After this week's release of the VR Mission Pack, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is on a roll with two more DLCs slated and confirmed to come out next month.
According to Joystiq, April 3 brings Jetstream and Blade Wolf, which will both be offered for the PS3 and Xbox 360 at $7. You'll be controlling Sam and Blade Wolf respectively for the games.
Compared to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which only has a game length of seven hours, developer Konami has promised multiple hours for the upcoming DLCs, reports Forbes.
Get the pay-if-you-like sequel for Dead Cyborg
Where can you find a gaming scheme where you can pay a game if you want to? Designer Endre Barath has done just that for his Dead Cyborg series, which now has a sequel.
The game puts you through a post-apocalyptic world featuring an amnesiac, cryogenics, and sci-fi themes. But what's more interesting is the fact that Barath had pushed through with the game even with $300 short of funding.
There are modifications from the previous game, as this version finally has mouse support, and the series has been rated 57th on Steam Greenlight, according to EuroGamer.
A third DLC pack for Sleeping Dogs, out now
Get back in the shoes of Wei Shen as he tries to redeem himself after getting back in the game with the Hong Kong Police Department.
The third DLC pack for Sleeping Dogs, entitled Year of the Snake, contains six missions, all with the aim of battling a cult that's seeking to purge the city of evil, reports IGN.
And to do this, you'll be loading up on new gadgets and weapons, which include tear gas guns, pistols with electroshock power, as well as three outfits and abilities.
Year of the Snake is already available for 560 Microsoft Points, and has already been rolled out for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
