COD: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC's official price and release date
After so many speculations and leaks, Activision has finally announced the details of Uprising, the DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. As previously reported, Uprising will contain four maps plus a Mob of the Dead adventure map. The map will also be released on April 16.
According to Gaming Everything, Uprising will be out for 1200 MP or $15 for the Xbox 360. The price for the PS3 is yet to be confirmed, given the 30-day release exclusivity for the Xbox. For Black Ops 2 Season Pass holders, you can get the expansion pack for free.
"With Uprising, the team has really outdone itself again," said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia to Gaming Everything. "What they've done this time around is nothing Zombie fans have seen before-and if you don't believe me, just wait until you get into Purgatory."
It's going to be a face-off and fight-off against the undead in Alcatraz, as players improvise weapons and use their skills to get through the zombified prisoners to make sure that you don't become one of them, hence, "purgatory."
The second Black Ops 2 DLC is gearing up to be a very interesting one indeed. Expect two more DLC packs for COD: Black Ops 2 this year
