Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
As promised by Bandai Namco, the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” will be getting its new DLC soon. The DLC is reportedly on its way and will offer some fresh new content. Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing the anticipated “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” downloadable content (DLC) Pack 3 tomorrow on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for US$9.99 (AU$13.22). Although most players already know that Bandai Namco planned to make the game’s next DLC available this month, the exact date was only officially announced today.

Players are anticipating the game’s DLC Pack 3 since it will include the powerful Zamasu, the main character in the Future Trunks arc of the popular anime, “Dragon Ball Super.” Aside from Zamasu, Goku Black Rose will be joining the line-up of characters in the game’s roster.

Goku Black Rose is a more powerful version of Goku’s doppelganger, who will be one of the antagonists added alongside Bojack. Bojack is also a “Dragon Ball” villain added in the game as a master.

Bandai Namco also released a game trailer that showcases the moves of the three abovementioned characters. The game trailer gave players a glimpse of what they can expect from the three: their move sets, possible combos and appearances while in battle.

‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ other new contents

Aside from the three new characters, the game’s DLC Pack 3 will also include three new parallel quests, five additional skills, four costumes, five super souls and two emotes. Two of the new costumes include one from Goku Black and from Future Mai.

The game’s DLC Pack 3 will also add five new attacks including the Super Black Kamekameha Rose, Trap Shooter, Reverse Launcher, Psycho Barrier and Grand Smasher. These are a great addition to the previously released moves from the DLC Pack 2 which include God of Destruction’s Menace , God of Destruction’s Roar, Destruction’s Concerto: Comet, Destruction’s Concerto: Starfall, Destruction’s Concerto: Meteor, Destruction’s Conductor, Requiem of Destruction and Sonic Bomb.

Although the three new playable characters in the DLC Pack 3 are originally from the Future Trunks arc of the anime, the gameplay storyline will not be released in the game until the next DLC Pack 4. The latest expansion pack will also include Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, the powerful result of the fusion of Goku and Vegeta using the Potara Earrings. Vegito is known to have played an important role in “Dragon Ball Super” arc.

Those who had purchased the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC Season Pass no longer have to purchase the DLC Pack 3. It will be available for download once it goes live in all servers.
