On Lady Gaga's interview with radio legend Howard Stern, the "Edge of Glory" singer talked about sex, her father's overt sexuality, drug addiction, and what she thinks of other artists.

The attention-seeking singer openly spoke her mind about matters that are usually kept behind closed doors on her interview with Howard Stern in New York. The singer opened the interview by declaring the activeness of her sexual life to the host, saying "I got laid last night", after which she talked about being addicted to cocaine during the early stages of her career. "I was for sure addicted to coke. I got off it because my father called me out and kicked my a**" says the singer in the radio interview as transcribed by The Daily Mail. The singer continues to describe her past habit, saying she usually consumes the drug alone, and that she "regrets every line" she did.

Although saying that she got rid of the cocaine, the singer says she continues to smoke cannabis to this day. Describing her cannabis habit as "not often" and an open "honesty", the singer continues by protesting her belief against artists who don't reveal what they do behind walls. "'I don't respect artists who aren't honest about what they do recreationally", says Gaga in the same Howard Stern interview.

The "Bad Romance" singer also called out her father's strong sexuality as the reason behind her daring persona. "He was having sex with girls under the boardwalk in New Jersey before he went to see Bruce Springsteen," tells the singer to Stern. "He saw a lot of himself in me. My first piano teacher was a stripper". Maybe that's what the singer meant when she sings "Born This Way".
