The promised dual-SIM Moto G finally arrives, and Australia dibs on the new variant.

Since the introduction of the Motorola Moto G in 2013, it has caused some serious waves. Back when the Moto G was announced, the company went on record that a dual-SIM variant will come down the road, although how soon was not made clear. At that time, there were no details provided about its availability and pricing.

The dual-SIM variant of the Moto G is finally out at the land Down Under, according to the recent information provided by Motorola on its official Australian Web site. Of course, as it comes from the company's official Web site, it should be a pretty legitimate and certain deal.

The new Moto G variant appears to seemingly have debuted recently, as there are still no online stores that offer the dual-SIM variant of the device. However, Ausdroid reports that the Motorola Moto G will go on sale with an RRP of AU$249 for the 8GB variant.

For quite some time, Motorola has been notably absent in the Australian market, so it is a bit surprising to see the brand return there now. The Motorola Moto G is virtually untouchable with its sheer value for money even though it is not as quite a star like the Moto X has proved to be.

The Motorola Moto G Australian version is advised to launch with Android 4.3. However, with Android 4.4 KitKat reaching the U.S. and Europe already, it should not take a long time before the update hits Australian devices as well.
