Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton: Pretty in White at the Order of the Garter Procession [PHOTOS]
Kate Middleton never goes wrong in Alexander McQueen. Perhaps the Duchess of Cambridge also realized that fact when she slipped into another creation at the Royal Order of the Garter procession yesterday.
The wives of Windsor managed to blend together beautifully in style but it was the Duchess of Cambridge who stood out among the three. Kate was joined together by the Countess of Wessex and the Duchess of Cornwall. The three women waited together in pastel fashion for their husbands to pass by during the procession.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton chose a double breasted Alexander McQueen dress paired with a Jane Corbett hat and her L.K. Bennett nude pumps. But it was also notable, that she wore the same coat dress in June of last year for the Trooping the Color ceremony. Kate, Sophie and Camila were seen chatting and laughing as they stood and waited.
Order of the Garter is the country's order of chivalry founded by King Edward III in 1348. Prince Charles, Prince Edward and the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William were among those who marched proudly. Crowds filled the street to watch the procession leading to St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The Duke of Edinburg who had recovered from his bladder infection rode in a carriage together with the Queen. After the ceremony, Kate, Camila, William and Charles returned to the castle by an open top carriage.
