Got some spare change for a new Ed Begley Jr. series?

The 62-year-old, famous both for his Hollywood roles and environmental passions, has launched a kickstarter campaign to help fund a new web series titled "On Begley Street." Over the course of six to 10 episodes, the show will document Ed and his wife, Rachelle Carson-Begley, as they attempt to build one of the greenest homes in North America.

"We want 'On Begley Street' to be funny and inspiring," says Rachelle Begley in a news release. "Sustainable or 'Green' living - whatever you want to call it - is actually a lot of fun. It's healthy, keeps the environment safe for the future, and it makes you feel good." Fans of the hit show "Living with Ed" (which originally premiered on HGTV back in 2007), will certainly be amused to hear that the lively banter between Ed and Rachelle is yet again on full display. As the release points out, his "numerous and comical" mistakes will compliment each episode, as well as some celebrity guests that are "coerced into an afternoon of hard labor."

The kickstarter campaign, which launched yesterday, aims to raise $25,000, with 100 percent of the donations going towards the markeitng and distribution of the Web series. If the goal is met, the Begleys will match it.

"What we're trying to fund is more than just a series - we're creating an a new venue to present original, fun shows promoting social good," they write. "A Web series and online platform gives us the independence to make these types of shows."

Like most kickstarter capaigns, depending on your financial commitment, you can earn rewards from your donations. Examples include your name in the credits ($5), poster and personalized thank-you video from the Begleys ($100+), associate producer credit ($1,000+), and a day at the spa with Rachelle or a bike ride with Ed ($10,000).
