"The ElderScrolls Online" update 6 promises to make life easier for gamers with a host of features optimising inventory and item management. Dubbed as Collections, the feature is designed to free up inventory space and make it a lot easier for gamers to hoard and make sense of all the loot gathered during play.

An MMORPG as large as this tends to contain a large number of quests and an even greater abundance of items garnered through them. Making sense of the countless items accrued over time can be a daunting task. The Collections feature aims to fix just that. The update will essentially enable players to organise items broadly categorised as costumes, pets and mounts in a tabbed format. Grouping items logically according to their type clears up valuable inventory space.

As soon as the update goes live, all items in the inventory that fit into the aforementioned categories will automatically be moved into the appropriate tabs. Moreover, the Collections feature also allows gamers to view vanity pets that they haven't captured yet. This will give collectors an incentive as well as a clue to hunt down the hard-to-find animals. The developer Zenimax has revealed that the Collections system will be "significantly" expanded with additional categories and enhanced functionality to be added in the near future.

The update will also have new additions to the game. This includes the Champion system, which is designed to add new avenues for long-time players to improve their characters. The Justice system is another new addition that brings the concept for crime and punishment to the world of "The ElderScrolls Online." Those interested may want to look up the official blog for additional information on the updates.

On Jan. 21, the developer had announced a worldwide release for "The Elder Scrolls Online" with a major revision in the deployment. The console version will be dropping the subscription model for a one-time purchase, with a monthly subscription model to be available as an option for the premium ESO Plus membership. Named as "Tamriel Unlimited," it will be released on June 9 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will go free-to-play on PC and Mac on March 17.
