British model and actress, Elizabeth Hurley to appear in NBC pilot of "Wonder Woman"
British actress and model, Elizabeth Hurley has announced over her Twitter account that she will be appearing on the television series in the US and expressed her excitement over the project.
Hurley tweeted that she has joined “Wonder Woman” by David E. Kelly and is looking forward to shooting the series.
"Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman," now a self-proclaimed, organic farmer said on her Twitter account.
"I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait," added Hurley referred to by virtual fling, Shane Warne as his ‘vegemite’ in a separate cryptic message he posted a day after Elizabeth flew back to London after her one-week vacation at Shane’s Brighton’s Mansion in Melbourne.
Reuters also said that NBC has refused to confirm Elizabeth’s casting as villain in "Wonder Woman". A source cited by Reuters said that her participation in the project depends highly on Hurley’s success to obtain a working visa.
Hugh Grant’s former girlfriend of thirteen years is said to appear as a ‘guest star’ in the series pilot, added the unidentified source.
Reuters also clarified that if Elizabeth will play the villain, former “Friday Night Lights” star, Adrianne Palicki has been the confirmed cast for the lead role, as the new "Wonder Woman".
