Eminem films new music video with KXNG Crookeds
Just before turning 44 on Monday, Eminem has taken part in the filming of a music video for KXNG Crookeds’ new album in Detroit.
A Reddit user BLilxy said the Long Beach, California-based rapper flew to Marshall Mathers’ hometown over the weekend.
maybe a new music video with Em? from Eminem
“So we all know Eminem is a confirmed feature for Kxng Crookeds album dropping end of October,” BLilxy posted.
“Crooked flew out to Detroit and is filming a music video there, usually Em is the one who never leaves Detroit when it comes to shooting videos so it would make sense for Crooked to fly to the D for that.”
Meanwhile on Twitter, KXNG Crooked confirmed missing the recent Oakland Raiders game due to the video shoot.
KXNG Crooked is gearing to release his “Good vs. Evil” album, which was originally set for release in August. According to him, the timing of the album release is fitting for the upcoming election.
“I think we need to have some more conversations than Hip Hop,” KXNG Crooked told HipHopDX.
“Some more political conversations, some more conversations about police, the relationship between the community and the police, more conversations about politicians and their pandering and what they will really do and conversations about laws that are really just designed to attack the inner city and the minorities. I think it’s time to start having those conversations. So this album is for the grown up people and I think it’s going to shake a few things up because it’s raw and edgy. It’s unapologetic.”
Happy Birthday Eminem
Meanwhile, Mathers marks his 44th birthday Monday with no announcement for his millions of fans who are getting antsy waiting for Eminem new album release.
Slim Shady won’t confirm or deny rumours that his ninth studio is titled “Root.” Rumours also have it that the Eninem new album features 12 tracks set for release before the year ends.
Meanwhile, Snoop Dog gave fans a hint on what Eminem is working on for his upcoming album and world tour.
“A Snoop-Dre album would be amazing, but a tour even more, because we have legendary music the world has yet to see us perform globally,” Snoop Doog told The Rolling Stone. “I’m pretty sure he wants to do it. He just wants the team in place. Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and and Dr. Dre – that’s the dream team for him.”
Eminem last released an album in 2013. Since then, he released individual songs and collaborated with other artists, the most recent of whom is Skylar Grey for her “Natural Causes” album.
Without releasing a new album this year, Eminem saw his annual earnings drop and his world records challenged. (Read: Eminem birthday countdown: Marshall Mathers' year in review before he turns 44)
