Eminem, Rihanna Unleash Their Inner Demons in New Track 'The Monster' [LISTEN HERE]

Eminem is at an all time career high as the year draws to an end with "Rap God" but the multi-talented musician has released another track with none other than Rihanna and its titled "The Monster." The single was released on Tuesday and has some really interesting lyrics.

It is the second collaboration for the two talented musicians. Rapper Eminem and pop diva Rihanna have earlier worked together on a 2010 smash hit "Love The Way You Lie." While their earlier track was based on the theme of love and abusive relationship "Monster" is all about dealing with the inner demons.

"You think I'm crazy/you're trying to save me/stop wasting your breath," Ri sings in her husky, deep voice.

"I am nuts for real," Eminem hits back in his rap style. "But I'm okay with that."

Their latest musical collaboration between Riri and Eminem is off Eminem's highly anticipated album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," due for release on November 5.

"I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed," Rihanna sings. "Get along with the voices inside of my head."

"I'm getting so huge/I need a shrink," goes another line from the lyrics of the new song where Eminem seems to be hinting at his love-hate relationship with popularity and fame as the following lines suggest.

"I wanted the fame, but not the cover of Newsweek / Oh well, guess beggars can't be choosey / Wanted to receive attention for my music / Wanted to be left alone in public, excuse me / Been wanting my cake and eat it too, and wanting it both ways / Fame made me a balloon cause my ego inflated," Eminem raps.

"Monster" lacks the in-your-face kind of feeling which we got when we listened to Eminem's earlier single "Rap God" where he raps so fast and expertly that it would not be wrong to call him the real God of rap.

"Song is below average. Beat is kinda good, but should be straight rapping like in Rap God. Riri could sing less. But they make an oddly good combination, though," writes an Eminem fan dorawaifu on YouTube.
