Emma Louise, The Bright Hope of Australia's Music Industry [FEATURE]
This 19-year-old singer-songwriter may not have seen an episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' but Emma Louise has been recently chosen to be a quite star of the hit medical drama.
This young artist has recently made a name in the music scene of Australia's indie artists. A Brisbane native, she has just released her EP 'Full Hearts & Empty Rooms' which has received a lot of high praises and great reviews. For anyone's song to be chosen to be played on the hit series is a dream come true for any newbie artist.
"I'm a little bit out of the loop because I don't have a TV and everyone is telling me about it. It's very special and I was very surprised when it came along," Louise shares.
She is very excited to perform at the Gorgeous Festival and so be able to catch up with an old friend Josh Pyke and get to know one of the finest performers of Australia, Icehouse. This is the first festival that Louise would take part of this year with the last one being Woodford Folk Festival during the previous year.
Louise confesses that she has been doing a lot of gigs to support other artists as well and that she is anxious and excited all at the same time for having the chance to do her own headline show. She is hoping to take her time in discovering more of Adelaide this time around with the festival soon to come around the bend.
