The band behind the 80s hit song 'Karma Chameleon' is set to reunite and head straight to the lucky country, Australia, right in time for New Year's eve.

Culture Club will be joined in by other old school artists from the music industry such as Pet Shop Boys, Jamiroquai, and Guy Sebastian amongst many others. They are to perform for the Sydney Resolution Concert Series.

It has been a decade ago when band members Roy Hay, John Moss, Mikey Craig and Boy George last jammed together. Now, to make the most of their reunion, they are working on a fresh material which will surely make a lot of their fans happy.

They promise to play all their hits that made them a classic icon in the music scene along with some of their new songs. For Hay, to see each other and play again together is not that easy especially since ten years is considerably long.

"That's the thing that makes us want to come back and do it, is to write new songs and put some new material out as well as play the old ones," Hay added.

Boy George, on the other hand, being the most popular in the group said that the nostalgic element is such a great feeling for them and their fans but there's that need to come up with something new so that better things would come out from mixing the past and present.

This New Year's eve concert will happen on Glebe Island and tickets start selling on November 28.
