Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield spotted enjoying a night stroll together

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were spotted together on a sweet evening stroll in London on Aug. 22. The former couple enjoyed each other’s company in what is purportedly just a friendly reunion.

The reel to real “The Amazing Spider-Man” pair were seen strolling around the London City’s Convent Garden. The two actors seemed really happy to be reunited. Stone was all smiles as she walked closely by Garfield’s side.

While fans wish for a hopeful romantic reunion between the two, Stone and Garfield were supposedly just enjoying each other’s company as friends.

“They’re definitely not dating,” a source disclosed to People.

Previous reports stated that the two could actually be back together and are simply keeping hush about their relationship. (Click here for the related story.)

Still, if it wasn’t the case, the friendly exes looked real happy to spend time with each other’s company over the weekend.

Stone and Garfield dated for four years after meeting each other on the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2011. They officially ended their relationship in October 2015. Supposedly, the main reason for the couple’s breakup is simply due to conflicting schedules. As such, Stone and Garfield are able to retain a good relationship together.

Currently, Garfield is busy with his latest film, “Hacksaw Ridge.” The 33-year-old actor is also occupied with his upcoming projects in 2017 like “Breathe” and “Under the Silver Lake.”

Meanwhile, Stone is busy in the promotion of her upcoming film, “La La Land.” Like Garfield, she also has a lot of projects in store for the next few years like “Battle of the Sexes” and “The Croods 2.” The 27-year-old actress is also reportedly in talks to play 101 Dalmatians' villain Cruella de Vil in an upcoming live-action origin story from Disney titled “Cruella.”

With Stone and Garfield’s multiple projects and busy schedules, it’s highly plausible that the actors can’t give time to dating. For now, the two seems to opt for a close platonic relationship together.
