Salim Mehajer makes sexual threats to wife Aysha's parents in secretly recorded footage
Salim Mehajer threatened to rape his estranged wife’s parents, according to a leaked video. The expletive-ridden footage shows the former Auburn deputy mayor secretly filmed hurling vicious and abusive messages at Aysha Learmonth.
Channel Nine’s “A Current Affair” released the video on Monday night, showing Mehajer angrily screaming at the phone while driving.

“Aysha, you’ve got five minutes to give me a call,” he screams at the phone. “I’m going to rape your mum, your mum and your f------ dad!”
He is heard saying a moment later, “I hope you die, you s---. I swear on the Koran, I swear to God, I’m not leaving today. And I hope you die, you f------ s---. You f----- 12 guys, you s---!”
The show claimed Mehajer sent the video messages to Aysha after she moved out of their home. The footage were sent to the program by her “concerned friend.” It said it would hand the footage over to NSW Police if they requested.
Aysha Learmonth, who has since reverted to her maiden name, has slapped her husband an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) last month. Mehajer has insisted that she was only forced to apply for AVO, and that their marriage was still intact. It’s unclear if Mehajer sent the messages to her after the AVO was taken out against him.

While Learmonth has declined to comment, Mehajer described the videos as just an “individual yelling into their personal phone camera.”
“No offence, Alison, you are a talented reporter who needs to spend more time getting shaken up by the ‘real’ stories that need ‘real awareness, not by an individual yelling into their personal phone camera,” a statement from Mehajer’s publicity team told the media (via 9News), referring to “A Current Affairs” reporter Alison Piotrowski.
“Which is the exact reason why I never took any requests to participate or be interviewed for that story seriously – because I don’t believe it’s classified as credible news.”
Following the videos’ released on air, Mehajer has been bombarded with messages from his critics on Facebook. He has since deactivated his account.
