'Empire' Season 3 episode 16 spoilers: Cookie has a new plan for Empire in Las Vegas in 'Absent Child' [VIDEOS]

A press release from FOX indicates that "Empire" Season 3, episode 16 will show Cookie taking matters into her own hands when it comes to getting vital information that could help resolve their latest family crisis. It involves Bella's disappearance. Her family blames the DuBois family for causing the crisis in the first place. Cookie also thinks of a new plan for Empire in Las Vegas. Plus, Andre will lash out while Lucious and Jamal reach a breakthrough in a special song that they've been focusing on.
'Absent Child' sneak peek and preview
A sneak peek of the "Absent Child" episode was posted on the show's official YouTube channel. It features a face-off between the Lyon and the DuBois families. Henson describes the scene as "pretty incredible" and says that it's "The 'hood versus the suburbs." Aside from this video, a preview of the episode was also uploaded. It features scenes including Cookie telling Lucious that their family should unite during their family crisis. It also shows the Lyons blaming the Dubois for Bella's disappearance. Guest stars of this episode include Taye Diggs as Angelo DuBois, Andre Royo as Thurston "Thirsty" Rawlings, Leslie Uggams as Leah Walker, Phylicia Rashad as Diana DuBois, Eric Lane as Drop, Sierra A. McClain as Nessa, Alexander Gemignani as Gino Marcone, Nia Long as Giuliana and Fetty Wap as Trig. According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Ralph Abbas (Office Employee) will also appear in "Absent Child." The other members of the "Empire" cast such as Gabourey Sidibe as Becky, Serayah as Tiana, Bre-Z as Freda Gatz, Morocco Omari as Tariq Cousins, Ta'Rhonda Jones as Porsha and Xzibit as Shine Johnson will also be seen in the upcoming episode of "Empire."
'Empire' episodes
"Absent Child" will be aired in the US on May 10. The episode before it was "Civil Hands Unclean," which was directed by Howard Deutch and written by Carlito Rodriguez and Ilene Chaiken. It was aired on May 3 and featured Snoop Dogg as one of Empire's Vegas partners trying to convince Lucious to put his son on Inferno. Unfortunately, Lucious refused to do so. Plus, Cookie, Jamal and Lucious finally agreed to work together for Vegas. However, their moment was interrupted when Bella was taken by Child Protective Services.
'Empire' on FOX
The episodes after "Absent Child" are "Toll and Trouble, Pt. 1," which airs on May 17 and "Toll & Trouble, Pt. 2," which airs on May 24. "Empire" airs on Fox8 in Australia. The musical drama also airs on Fox in the US on Wednesdays at 9-10 pm EST.
