Fox's "Empire" starring Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon, Trai Byers as Andre Lyon, Bryshere "Yazz" Gray as Hakeem Lyon and Grace Byers as Anika Calhoun will have a new episode titled "Toll & Trouble, Part 1." It will show Cookie's plans to take down her rival Giuliana (Nia Long). Read on to learn more.

According to a press release from FOX, the "Empire" Season 3, episode 17, which is also the first installment of the show's season finale, will show Cookie taking charge again after being banned from the Leviticus Vegas casino. She will put together a team of allies to help her take down Giuliana by stealing her secret weapon. Unfortunately, it won't be easy because it is locked in a safe. Meanwhile, Jamal will be asked to put the brakes on his album to avoid competing with Lucious' "Inferno." The episode was directed by Bryshere Y. Gray and written by Serayah McNeill.

'Toll & Trouble, Part 1' preview and sneak peek

A preview of the "Toll & Trouble, Part 1" episode was posted on the show's official YouTube channel. It features scenes that show Cookie being busy with her plans against Giuliana. "If we don't end Giuliana, there will be nothing left," Cookie says in the video. It also shows Eva Longoria as Charlotte Frost, who will talk about Giuliana and how Cookie's discovery about her will be enough to put her in prison for good. A sneak peek video of the episode was also posted which shows more detailed scenes on how Cookie and her assembled team of allies will go about their plan to exact revenge on Giuliana. 'Empire' show guest stars and cast

The guest stars that will grace this episode includes Taye Diggs as Angelo DuBois, Andre Royo as Thurston "Thirsty" Rawlings, Leslie Uggams as Leah Walker, Sierra A. McClain as Nessa, Eric Lane as Drop and Phylicia Rashad. According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Jerry Sur (High Stakes Gambler), Ralph Abbas (Office Employee / Gambler) and John Krejczyk (Head of Leviticus Vegas Security) will also be seen in "Toll & Trouble, Part 1." Watch out for the other "Empire" cast members such as Morocco Omari as Tariq Cousins, Ta'Rhonda Jones as Porsha, Bre-Z as Freda Gatz, Xzibit as Shine Johnson, Serayah as Tiana and Gabourey Sidibe as Becky.

'Empire' episodes: 'Absent Child' and 'Toll & Trouble, Pt. 2'

"Toll & Trouble, Part 1" will air in the US on May 17. The episode before it was "Absent Child," which was aired on May 10. It was directed by Millicent Shelton and written by Millicent Shelton and Attica Locke. The second part of the "Empire" Season 3 finale is "Toll & Trouble, Pt. 2," which airs on May 24.
