American sports columnist and brilliant anchor in ESPN Skip Bayless claims that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is never going to fight Manny Pacquiao because the undefeated American fighter is too scared to lose and get hurt. Recently, Pacquiao has been very vocal about his desire to fight Mayweather, but Mayweather has just not been so enthusiastic about making the fight happen.

Following Pacquiao's victory over Chris Algieri on Nov. 23 at the Venetian Macao in China, Bayless has posted a series of tweets saying that Mayweather is just too scared of the Filipino boxer. With Pacquiao's unanimous win over Algieri, which included 6 knockouts, Bayless thinks that Mayweather will be afraid to face Pacquiao in the ring more than ever.

You watching this, Floyd? You sweating? You thinking, "No way I'm going to risk losing to Pacquiao"? Thought so.

I'll say it again: NO WAY FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. WILL FIGHT MANNY PACQUIAO BECAUSE HE'S AFRAID HE WOULD LOSE AND GET HURT.

Pacman taunting Floyd, saying he's ready. Floyd obviously is NOT.

Bayless is one of the people who have been provoking Mayweather. In September, Bayless has also tweeted about how Mayweather has been trying to run away from Pacquiao.

Now Floyd Mayweather will keep running from Manny Pacquiao.

The super fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao has long been in the talks but it has never materialized and come to fruition. Even though Pacquiao and his team have expressed their willingness to sit down and discuss the fighter, Mayweather has been reluctant, throwing demands here and there.

In ESPN's "First Take" aired on Nov. 13, 2014, Bayless and fellow anchor Stephen A. Smith have shared their thoughts on the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. Both anchors want to see the fight take place. Smith said Mayweather should take the Pacquiao fight instead of the Amir Khan fight because the boxing fans would want to see him get in the ring with Pacquiao and not with the Bolton-born boxer. Smith said that nobody is asking for Mayweather to fight Khan. Smith said that Mayweather's name will always be linked to Pacquiao.

In Bayless' opinion, on the other hand, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will never happen because Mayweather just doesn't want to make it happen. "I'm just saying from my heart, Floyd Mayweather Jr. for years, has ran from Manny Pacquiao, for years he had made excuses." Bayless said that the fight has been in the talks. Despite the negotiations that Bob Arum and Pacquaio have made, Mayweather is just too reluctant to fight the eight-division Filipino world champion.
