Galatasaray will not be giving Olympiacos a warm welcome as they go against each other on matchweek 2 of the Euroleague.

Galatasaray head coach Ergin Ataman is ready to get down to business as he is excited by the fact that their opponents share a similar style of playing on the hard court, in general.

"Olympiacos has experienced players who play the offense very organized and put pressure on defense. They play good team play with their leader Spanoulis. Our Basketball philosophy is similar to that of our opponent," Ataman told euroleague.net.

"For this reason, with our fans great support, I am expecting a good team play and a great hassle from all of my players to win this game."

Gala power forward Furkan Aldemir is expecting a significant fans turn-out ahead of their clash and is looking forward to seize the moment.

"All of my teammates know we will have a great atmosphere at Thursday night with our fans big support and we will do our best to end that night with a victory," said Aldemir.

On the other hand, Olympiacos mentor Georgios Bartzokas knows that a win against Gala will give them a huge boost as it will further bolster their chances of going through to the next round.

"Galatasaray is a very good team. We can see that from their results so far in Turkey as well as in the Euroleague. At the first game of the season they defeated Siena easily," said Bartzokas.

"It will be very interesting to see how we will react in this game which is very difficult and also an away game. We will make our effort, even though we know it is too soon, but if we win this game it will be a big step towards the Top 16." Olympiacos guard Vangelis Mantzaris acknowledged the fact that Gala's star-packed line-up led, by Carlos Arroyo, will cause them problems on the defensive end of the floor.

"The win over Malaga was very important, we were stressed and there was a lot of pressure on us but we managed to win the game. About the match against Galatasaray, I would say it is a very difficult game. It's a team with very good players and big personalities."
