Evasi0n 6.1.3 jailbreak does not seem to be coming despite an online petition that has gathered nearly 4 thousand signatures. The evad3rs are not likely to get their hacking minds busy on the current Apple OS. Instead, they are testing iOS 7 on iPhones and are expected to release a jailbreak when it rolls out later this year.

"A lot of anxious jailbreakers are desperate for jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 and (there) is nothing they can do," says the petition.

The evad3rs, through David Wang, have released a statement a month before iOS 6.1.3 rollout that they were not going to jailbreak the new OS. Instead, they would wait for the "next major update." True enough, evad3r @pod2g has announced on Twitter he's testing iOS 7 on iPhone 4S.
Other iPhone users who failed to note the evad3rs' notice on no iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak were disappointed to find out the news too late.

Twitter user @AmirAkhgar asked evad3r @pimskeks, "How (do I) downgrade to 6.1.2 without shsh?" The Apple iPhone hacker tweets back, "no way to do that, sorry."

Two weeks have passed since evad3r @pod2g updated his followers on iOS 7 testing. After installing iOS 7 beta 3, the developer said the new Apple OS is "smoother and more stable." He tested the new OS on an iPhone 4S.

Earlier, however, pod2g's iOS 7 tweets were not very promising. After giving iOS 7 a poor rating, he tweeted: "I am about to switch to an Android device." Still, all hope is not lost for an iOS 7 jailbreak. When an Apple user asked @pod2g about the release of an iOS 7 jailbreak, the mobile hacker tweeted, "I have no idea. But iOS 7 is not out yet... So..."

So there is virtually no hope left for an iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak. But iPhone users can still hope for an evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak. From rumours and reported "legit sources," it looks like iOS 7 will be rolled out when the iPhone 5S or 6 is released later this year.
