After months of waiting, publisher Square Enix and developer Avalanche Studios have finally revealed a “Just Cause 3” gameplay trailer. “Just Cause 3” has been highly anticipated by many fans, thanks to the previous iteration’s focus on explosions and over-the-top stunts. It appears that the sequel won’t deviate too much from “Just cause 2” but will instead up the insanity as can be seen in the video below.

The trailer showcases the game’s love for wanton destruction, as the explosions seen in the game are so rampant. Players will be able to take part in helicopter dogfights and high-speed chases, all of which can possibly end in a crash and an explosion or two.

“Just Cause 3” also adds some intriguing new features that will hopefully maximise the fun that can be had in this over-the-top title. IGN, in particular, seems to like the new aerial stunts in the game like the wing suit, which is similar to what Falcon wears in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and plane-jacking, which involves stealing a plane while it is still in the air.

Exploration will also be a key part in “Just Cause 3,” as Gamespot reported that players will be tasked with finding enemy bases in the game and destroying them in whatever chaotic manner they want. Players will also have to destroy various propaganda materials in the exotic island that the game is set in, like billboards and loud speakers that can be creatively destroyed in any way the player chooses.

The game also appears to have had some inspiration from “Twisted Metal” and “Mad Max,” as the “Just Cause 3” pre-order bonus includes vehicles packed to the brim with weapons. The “Weaponised Vehicle Pack” will be exclusive to people who pre-order the game, at least for the first few months of the game’s release.

Fans can expect to start destroying a variety of things in “Just Cause 3” on Holiday 2015, though no official release date has been released. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
