Facebook down, error message says, 'Sorry, something went wrong'

Facebook down has become a trending topic in Australia early Tuesday morning. A lot of users are getting an error message that says, "Sorry, something went wrong."
UPDATE: Facebook is now back up after an undetermined number of users encountered page loading errors. DownDetector.com shows users from Asia Pacific, particularly Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, got affected by the glitch, which lasted for less than 30 minutes.
Social media managers as well as regular users are ranting on Twitter about the error. Facebook has yet to explain the situation. Meanwhile, here are some of the tweets regarding the Facebook error:
