'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald': Elder wand teased in new photo

The wizards will be at war in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” as they try to bring down a notorious criminal that has shaken the wizarding world with his ideology. The wand that’s aiding the villain is the famous Elder wand, and new pictures have surfaced online that tease the return of the most powerful magical object.

Each wand in the franchise is unique, and there are a few distinctive wands featured in the upcoming film. Pottermore has teased a picture of some of the wands featured in the upcoming film, and there should be one wand that the fans will be familiar with [see below].

The Elder wand is a very powerful magical object, and it is part of the legend of the three brothers who contended against death. The wand is currently in the possession of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), who will use it to commit crimes in the upcoming film.

A new set of character posters of the film have been posted on EntertainmentWeekly. The picture of Gellert shows him with his Elder wand.

Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) will be back in the next film, and he will be tasked with fighting against Grindelwald. His little green creature friend Bowtruckle will be also be back to fight the good fight.

Some of the other familiar characters in the film are Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), Queenie (Alison Sudol), Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), and Credence (zra Miller). There is also a Young Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) being introduced in the film, a character who should play a more important role in the coming movies from the franchise.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” has been directed by David Yates. The film will be released on Nov. 15 in Australia. The plot will focus on Dumbledore enlisting the support of Newt to fight Gellert.
