'Fantastic Four': New Movie Stills Released, Josh Trank Says It Is Like A 'Dark Ambin Movie'

Four new stills of “Fantastic Four” have surfaced online. It gives an individual look at the four-team members of “Fantastic Four.” In one of the stills Miles Teller is shown wearing what looks like a spacecraft suit. In second still Kate Mara is shown standing in a corridor. She is wearing black overalls and human bodies appear to be lying around her. In third still a close-up of Michael Jordan is revealed and in the fourth still Jamie Bell is shown lifting his bicycle.

The four news stills of the “Fantastic Four” reboot appeared in Empire Magazine. Josh Trank has directed the film and he also revealed some interesting details about the film to the magazine. He spoke about the tone of the film and said it is like a “dark Amblin movie.” Reportedly, each character has been etched out by taking the “Ambin style approach,” according to film’s writer Simon Kinberg.

“There's the opportunity to make something that is challenging and tragic and dramatic. The opportunity is right there in the material,” added Trank reported the magazine. “Fantastic Four” reboot is reportedly different from the previous “Fantastic Four” films. In the previous films the character got their powers by going to the space where their DNA composition is changed whereas in Trank’s film the characters get their powers when they get teleported to an alternate universe. The first trailer of “Fantastic Four” has already been released and Miles Teller recently revealed in his interview that he was surprised by it, according to MTV. He also spoke about Trank’s style of working.

He said that Josh has a “very specific tone” and as an actor one does not come to know how will the movie turn until you see the final cut. “Fantastic Four” is scheduled to be released on Aug 7 2015 in 2D and 3D format. Teller will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Mara will play Sue Storm / The Invisible Woman, Bell will play Benn Grimm/ The Thing, Jordan will play Johnny Storm / The Human Torch and Toby Kebbell will play Victor Domashev. The principal photography of the film took place in August. It was shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
