'Fear the Walking Dead' Season 2 premiere trailer shows some beach action; behind the scenes video released
A promo video of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2 premiere episode has surfaced online. The video teases some action on the beach, as the survivors take on a large group of Walkers.
[Spoiler alert]
Towards the end of the first season, Travis (Cliff Curtis) and his team managed to reach the house of Victor Strand (Colman Domingo). Victor’s house is overlooking the ocean and he has a yacht filled with supplies.
The survivors had planned to go to the yacht and stay in the middle of the ocean, to escape from the Walkers who have spread throughout the land. The Walkers do not have the ability to swim, so the survivors feel that staying in the ocean will keep them safe.
A promo video of the premiere episode of the next season posted on IGN shows the survivors fighting off a group of Walkers on the beach. Travis and his team may have to fight off some of the Walkers before they head to the yacht.
The survivors may not stay in the yacht for long in “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2 premiere episode. The promo shows some of the characters coming back to the beach at night, for what seems like a supply run.
Meanwhile, a behind the scenes video from the first season has been posted on USA Today. The video shows a rioting scene of Los Angeles being filmed in Vancouver. The filming took place in both the cities. Some of the cast members who appear in the video complemented the set and said that it made their work that much easier.
“Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2 premiere episode is set to air on April 10. The first rival group that Travis and his team will encounter in the next season is a group of refugees. There will be some tension amongst the group members too, as the team learn to survive in the post apocalyptic world.
