Someone went ahead and did it -- turned the “almost-sacred” Disney princesses into Anastasia Steele of “Fifty Shades of Grey” with their respective love interests as Christian Grey. Nine out of the world’s favorite animated pairings are shown to be “getting busy in the Red Room.”

Cosmopolitan magazine, at the height of “Fifty Shades of Grey” frenzy, published an article titled “If Disney Couples Starred in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'” where nine matches-made-in-heaven Disney couples tried their hands at the BDSM positions and scenes on the raunchy-book-turned-movie. Ariel and Eric of "The Little Mermaid," Tiana and Naveen of "The Princess and the Frog," Aurora and Phillip of "Sleeping Beauty," Jasmine and Alladin of "Aladdin," Mulan and Li Shang of "Mulan," Cinderella and Prince Charming of "Cinderella,” Pocahontas and John Smith of "Pocahontas," Belle and The Beast of "Beauty and the Beast" and Anna and Kristoff of "Frozen" were all featured at the “Red Room.” See the complete animation here.

The controversial animation was published by Cosmopolitan magazine, but the man or woman behind the saucy drawings remains anonymous. This is not the first spoof animation or parody there is of “Fifty Shades of Grey.” It is also not the first set of childhood icons that were portrayed this way either. Just days before these Disney princesses were featured at the Red Room, Lego toys already beat them into it. If there is “Fifty Shades of Disney” now, there was just “Fifty Shades of Bricks” a few days ago in a video format; a sign of the fever everyone is in.

In the “Fifty Shades of Grey” mash-up trailer, there is a Lego version of Christian Grey, complete with abs and brooding facial expression. There is also a Lego version of Anastasia Steele, all shy and sexy. Then of course, there is also a Lego version of the Red Room of Pain. While the one behind the “Fifty Shades of Disney” is not known, the trailer of this Lego love fest comes from stop-motion animators Antonio and Andrea Toscano. They were also the ones who made the genius Lego trailers of famous films “Star Trek into Darkness” and “Man of Steel.
