Fifty Shades of Grey Casting Update: Analeigh Tipton as Anastasia Steele [PHOTOS]
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is still on and fans are still anticipating the announcement of the final cast. While Universal Studios is yet to confirm likely Hollywood actors and actresses, fans of E.L. James best-selling erotica novels are creating polls of their own candidates. So who are the newest protégés for the role of Anastasia Steele?
All thanks to Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" series, the fan fiction of "Fifty Shades of Grey" was born. Now, the fan fictions are one of the top selling and highly read books of today. Leave it to a woman to make a story out of sex and love painfully and ironically twisted in a lot of ways.
E.L. James has received a lot of praise for "Fifty Shades of Grey" and her books continue to get the limelight. With a film adaptation in the works, fans of "Fifty" are of course in dire need to know who would play the roles of the book leads namely Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Late last year, Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries" along with Lucy Hale of "Pretty Little Liars" made it to the top of likely candidates. However, with 2013 freshly rolling in, there's a new list of stars ready to take the top spot.
The highly-coveted role of Anastasia Steele has been eyed by a lot of Hollywood actresses. Mila Kunis was the most recent actress to express interest in playing the role. Yet, with a lot of other pretty brunettes in the business, Kunis may or may not be Anastasia Steele.
A new name added to the bunch is "America's Next Top Model" 11th season third place winner, Analeigh Tipton. Tipton has quite a few film roles to boot of which include "Crazy, Stupid, Love", "Green Hornet" and "Warm Bodies." With a fresh face and charm, Tipton in many ways embodies Anastasia Steele of which of course fans of the books have stated.
In fact, Tipton is aware of all the talks and is "flattered" fans have considered her for the role of Ana.
"It's a role that seems pretty brave. That kind of piques my interest," stated Tipton.
