June has begun and still no word from Universal Studios or E.L. James about an official cast for "Fifty Shades of Grey." For one, fans of the fandom are taking their time speculating on a cast. From Hugh Dancy to Joseph Gordon-Levitt, here are all the latest additions to the Christian Grey casting favourites.

Back in January up until the first weeks of May, Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill were three among the strongest contenders for the role of Christian Grey. Now, the favourites have changed all thanks to a few new additions.

Before May had ended, quite a few actors have been named as potential stars to play the lead role of Christian in "Fifty Shades of Grey." First off is Matt Davis, Somerhalder's co-star from "Vampire Diaries", who had been claimed the next Grey given his dark personal on screen. Davis however had been dubbed a bit old for the role compared to Ian Somerhalder thus this favourite didn't last long in the fandom.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who had initially been dubbed "too cute" for the role, is also one of the new favourites for the role all thanks to his directorial debut of "Don Jon." In the film, JGL loves to objectify women and is a man quite obsessed with porn. With all the sex on screen, fans considered Joseph Gordon-Levitt worthy of the role of Christian Grey.

Up and coming British actor, Hugh Dancy of "Hannibal" is also a new name on web polls along with returning favourite, Ryan Gosling of "Only God Forgives." "The Voice" coach, Adam Levine has also been up for the role.

The latest addition to the bandwagon is "The Mortal Instruments" Kevin Zegers. The dark haired and blue eyed actor had been thrown into the mix due to his tweet about Amanda Bynes being in "dark places."

With the list and the names getting longer each day, the speculation for a cast continues. Hopefully, Universal Studios and E.L. James announce an official cast soon enough before the most unusual celebrities become favourites for the lead roles.
