A few television stars such as Melissa Benoist of "Glee", Allison Williams of "Girls" and Ashley Benson of "Pretty Little Liars" have been eyed as potential Anastasia Steele's. Joining them as suitable stars for the role is another TV star in the form of "Awkward" Ashley Rickards. In fact, a Facebook fan page has been created for the sole purpose of Rickards getting cast as Ana in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Almost all the fan favourites named for the role of Anastasia Steele have come from well-known television series. Emilia Clarke and Alexis Bledel, the strongest contenders for the role, both come from iconic TV shows namely "Game of Thrones" and "Gilmore Girls" respectively.

Surprisingly, Emilia and Alexis aren't the only TV stars eyed for the role of Anastasia Steele. The latest include Melissa Benoist of "Glee", Allison Williams of "Girls" and Ashley Benson of "Pretty Little Liars." One recent addition to the team is "Awkward" star Ashley Rickards who is a new favourite by fans of "Fifty" for the role of Anastasia Steele.

Judging from Rickards' physical attributes, Ashley can easily pull off the 21-year old college girl look of Anastasia Steele. In fact, a few fans agree with Ashley being cast as Anastasia Steele. As proof, a Facebook fan page has been created for the purpose of Ashley possibly getting cast as Ana.
