'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: E.L. James Tweet Confirms Ian Somerhalder Cast as Christian Grey? [PHOTOS]
Ian Somerhalder has done it once again. The "Vampire Diaries" star has caused quite the excitement on Twitter all thanks to another mysterious tweet. Fans of "Fifty Shades" think the movie Ian is filming for now is related to Christian Grey. In fact, E.L. James' cryptic tweet coincidentally matches with Ian Somerhalder's tweet.
E.L. James definitely loves to tease her fans about the highly-anticipated release of "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. The author of the best-selling erotica novels recently sent out a tweet causing obsessed fans to scream in glee.
"Mmmm... loving the scent of Christian Grey..." stated James on her Twitter account.
Immediately after, fans of James had begged her to reply about who she and the production studio have chosen for the lead role of Christian Grey. This could quite possibly be a plot for James to keep fans hooked.
However, fans are speculating that fan favourite Ian Somerhalder has already been cast for the role. The "Vampire Diaries" had sent out a tweet a day before E.L. James about him being in London to film a movie.
"Wheels down in London-ciao beautiful Italy...," the "Vampire Diaries" tweeted Ian.
It's no coincidence given rumours have it "Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to take place in London. Ian's tweet counts as the second time the Hollywood hunk has been caught filming in London. Back in May, Ian caused an uproar on Twitter after tweeting about filming in Paris.
"Paris- it was short and sweet, thanks for the abundance of love. Great day in London, rehearsing new movie. So. Damn. Happy. Here. In. Europe," stated Somerhalder's tweet.
Adding fuel to the fire, E.L. James had tweeted all about being in the same spot with "London life..." Still, getting facts straight, Ian Somerhalder is in London to shoot scenes for his upcoming film, "The Anomaly."
"If Ian's going to pull off being a leading man, he needs to cut his teeth as a second-leading man, if not a first," reports The Stir, adding, "Not only does it not conflict with the filming of 'Fifty Shades,' but the more practice Ian has, the better prepared he'll be to carry a giant movie like the epic sex trilogy based on the novel by E.L. James."
Yet, fans still hope that Somerhalder somehow does get the lead part of Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey.
