The "Fifty Shades of Grey" film is probably the most anticipated film release of the year. Apart from the film, fans of E.L. James erotica novel are looking forward to the announcement of the official cast. Universal Studios has confirmed that casting is still far off schedule but that certainly isn't stopping fans from coming up with countless lists and polls for potential stars to play as Anastasia Steele and Christian grey. In fact, some "Twihards" insist that two of their popular stars be in the film as Ana.

Alexis Bledel continues to be a fan favourite for the role of Anastasia Steele. Despite rumours that the 39-year old is out of the running for the role given her busy schedule, fans remain loyal to the actress and hope Alexis gets cast as Ana.

Coming in at second place is "Game of Thrones" star, Emilia Clarke. With the big blue eyes and brunette hair, Emilia has got the look of Ana down pat perfectly. Following closely to the ranks of Alexis Bledel and Emilia Clark is "Like Crazy" actress, Felicity Jones. Jones may hail from indie and less popular films but the British actress is quite well-known among "Fifty" fans.

Alexis, Emilia and Felicity may be three of the top contenders for the role of Anastasia. Yet, there are still a few notable actresses on the list of which include "Twilight" beauties, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene.

E.L. James may have stated that Stewart is out of the running for the role but "Twihards" insist that the 22-year old still has a chance at playing Ana. Given Stewart was the inspiration for Anastasia Steele it is just but appropriate to cast Stewart for the sultry and racy role.

On the other hand, some "Twilight" fans disagree claiming Stewart has had enough of the spotlight and that the highly-acclaimed role be given to someone else. That someone else is no other than Stewart's co-star, Ashley Greene. Greene has been a constant favourite for the role of Ana and has even been paired up with third contender for the role of Christian Grey, Ian Somerhalder.

Stewart and Greene are both gorgeous actresses who have the knack at playing sexy roles but who among these "Twilight" beauties is fit to play the role of Ana?
