The hype for the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues. Fans are still highly anticipating who among Hollywood's hottest and most talented would nab the lead roles in the BDSM-themed movie. One name that has been mentioned quite a few times on polls that would play Anastasia Steele perfectly is Lily Collins.

With a plethora of actresses ready to pull off the shy, innocent college girl to S&M participant, singer Phil Collins' daughter could just be one of them. Lily Collins, 24-years old, appears as the perfect actress to pull off the role of Anastasia Steele.

Collins first broke into the scene when she starred in "The Blind Side" alongside Sandra Bullock. Lily then got her big break when she starred in "Mirror Mirror", the comedic remake of "Snow White" opposite Julia Roberts. The 24-year old actress is set to star as Clary Fray in the film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's best-selling fiction novels, "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" come August.

Judging by Collins' appearance, the actress does have the physical characteristics that greatly resemble the 22-year old college student, Anastasia Steele. Collins' brunette hair isn't far off from Steeles' and the green eyes are fixable to turn to Ana's iconic blue eyes.

A lot of "Fifty Shades" fans agree with Lily Collins' cast as Anastasia Steele. In fact, a YouTube user had already uploaded a video pairing off Collins with potential Christian Grey actor, Matt Bomer. Take a look at the video below.

Phil Collins' daughter has the chance to play the elusive role of Anastasia Steele but Lily might have tons of competition for the role. Currently at the top of web polls set to play the role of Steele is "Gilmore Girls" star, Alexis Bledel. Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" follows in at second. A few notable names on web polls garnering attention and number of votes are "Twilight's" Kristen Stewart, "Pretty Little Liars'" Lucy Hale and "Like Crazy's" Felicity Jones.
