Cast rumours for "Fifty Shades of Grey" continue this early for the month of September. Despite the casting call announced early in August, producers have yet to find their perfect Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. For now, all that fills the web is talk that Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Zac Efron are three potential picks for the part of Christian Grey.

News has it that the official cast for the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" is to be announced after Labour Day. Of course, James has remained mum about the rumours but that hasn't stopped producer Dana Brunetti from sharing a few titbits about the upcoming film.

For one, the film will push through with the release on August 1, 2014. As for whoever the production studio chooses for the part of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, fans will always have something negative to say. Also, with regards to casting, a chemistry test would be done for stars that would play Christian and Ana. If there is chemistry between them then signing for the parts would push through. Yet, if there isn't chemistry between the stars then another celeb would be up for the part.

Lately, a few new names have been added to the mix of suitable stars for the part of Grey. Theo James, Christian Cooke, Charlie Hunnam and Bryce Thompson were said to be eyed by producers. However, not one of these stars has a final choice for the part. In fact, old time favourites namely Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Zac Efron are up for the role again. All thanks to what Bret Easton Ellis had to share of course, these three had immediately been suspected as potentials.

"I know who her number one choice for Christian Grey is ... She is never going to get him. He has dark hair. Of course, that's what she wants ... Okay, I can say this: Think of the most obvious, fitting choice. It's right in front of your face. I can't say anything," said Easton Ellis.

If Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Zac Efron were the three top choices for the part, who should play Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey" then?
