All thanks to Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut of "Don Jon," Johansson has attracted the eyes of a huge fandom. Now, Scarlett Johansson had been eyed as the next Anastasia Steele. "Fifty Shades" fans clearly agree that the sexy blonde has the chops to play the brunette beauty, Ana.

Every day since the announcement of the "Fifty Shades" film adaptation, a new name has been added to the mix of potential stars. A few weeks earlier, Minka Kelly, Rachel McAdams and Alexandra Daddario were eyed as possible stars to portray Anastasia Steele in the big screen. However, today it's Scarlett Johansson.

Johansson may be the least of the fan favourites back in 2012. Due to Scarlett's voluptuous figure and not-so innocent looks, the "Avengers" star was least likely considered for the role of Ana. Yet, it looks as if the perception has changed because fans are greatly considering Scarlett of the role.

Apart from ScarJo's portrayal of a simple girl in "We Bough A Zoo" opposite Matt Damon, Scarlett's role in "Don Jon" has catapulted her to the top of the list for potential Ana's in the movie biz. Still, Scarlett has a few strong opponents for the role of which include Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones", Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls", Allison Williams of "Girls" and Nina Dobrev of "The Vampire Diaries."

Even if ScarJo does manage to win the web poll for the role, official casting would of course depend on Universal Studios and Focus Features. As of late, the production studios in charge of the film are currently searching for a director and casting is the least bit of their concern.
