'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Tyler Hoechlin as Christian Grey and Brittany Snow as Anastasia Steele [PHOTOS]

With Ian Somerhalder, the famous vampire from "Vampire Diaries," out of the running for the part of Christian Grey, it's not the least bit surprising fans would eye a werewolf for the part. Tyler Hoechlin of "Teen Wolf" plays the famous Derek Hale in the MTV series and fans of "Fifty" now think that Tyler can play the part of Grey. Along with Tyler's off screen belle, Brittany Snow, the couple are eyed for the iconic lead roles in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

August has begun which means new names would probably be included in the potential list of Hollywood stars suited for the parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele for "Fifty Shades of Grey." Surprisingly, that is exactly the case with Tyler Hoechlin and Brittany Snow.

The couple who had been dating since 2012 is now the latest pair up for the part in the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel. Opposing Views report that 25-year old Tyler Hoechlin is the perfect actor to play 27-year old Christian Grey plus that his 27-year old girlfriend could pull off the part of Anastasia Steele.

"He's hot and totally fits the physical appearance of the lead male character. At 6'0 he's tall enough to play the role and he also has the characteristically muscular, broad-shouldered frame," say fans about Hoechlin.

Given Tyler does somehow fall into the "unknown actor" category then the "Teen Wolf" star could possibly be in the "Fifty Shades" film. Celeb Dirty Laundry states that producers are looking for "unknowns" for the part of Ana and Christian.

"This is the kind of film that needs solid actors and actresses to pull off the material, but what A-list actor or actress would be willing to do a film with this much sex and nudity [assuming they're sticking close to the source material]? It all depends on the filmmaker's vision, sure, but smart money's also on the studio already realizing this and aiming to cast unknowns in the lead roles. They manage to save face if the movie doesn't do well, and they'll launch the career of two young stars if the movie does well," stated the source.
