“Doctor Who” will be arriving Down Under in November. Twelfth and current Doctor Peter Capaldi and showrunner Steven Moffat are heading to Sydney for the first official Doctor Who Festival in Australia.

The event will take place a week after the London festival, which will take place from the 13th to the 15th of November. The Australian edition, which will run on the 21st and 22nd of the same month at the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney, will provide fans exclusive access to the secrets behind the long-running UK series.

General day ticket price holders will be given access to three separate activities. First they will get to meet the cast, which, as of the time of writing, only include Capaldi, the current titular star of the show. More cast are yet to be announced. The ticketholders will attend a Q&A session with the Doctor, and will get to meet the writers who create the exciting storylines of the series. Moffat, the lead writer and exec producer, will detail the process of developing stories from script to screen.

There will be live monster make-up demonstration and interactive monster workshops included in the day pass. More activities are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

General Adult tickets cost $195, with the General Concession tickets for ages 16 and under cost $99. The TARDIS Adult is $365 and includes preferred seating at events, exclusive TARDIS lounge access with two free drinks and a Doctor Who goodie bag. Presale is on July 6.

Aussie fans are not the only fans who will be visited by the Doctor. Kiwi Whovians will also get the chance to see Capaldi in person as the Scottish actor heads to Auckland on November 24 for an intimate evening with them. The venue and details for this event are yet to be announced.

“Doctor Who” series 9, starring Capaldi and Jenna Coleman as his companion Clara, began filming in January. It is expected to premiere in late 2015.
