It’s a mind-boggling move from the magical Westeros of the bygone era to the futuristic Tardis. Maisie Williams would make this giant leap forward to the future to star in the Sci-Fi "Doctor Who" series. Director Ed Bazalgette said that Maisie would give "Doctor Who" a testing time in the Tardis.
Maisie Williams joined the star cast of "Doctor Who" and celebrated her 18th birthday on the set. She enjoyed her milestone with a Nando take-out with co-stars. Steve Moffat , Executive producer for "Doctor Who" said, “ We are thrilled to have Maisie Williams on set. She would be giving the right sort of hell to the Doctor, who would be out of his depth.” He did not elaborate whether Williams would be villainous or just play mischief with the Doctor.
The popular 18-year-old has been the winner of many awards while portraying Arya Stark in the iconic "Game of Thrones" series. Williams said that she was pretty “stoked” to be a part of the show and it was a dream come true as a teenager growing up in Bristol. It remains to be seen whether she would be a helper for the Doctor or just a random person he helps while moving across time and space.
In the meantime, Ed Sheeran announced his interest to star with Maisie in "Game of Thrones" as he is a big fan of the actress. Maisie’s on-screen Sister, Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark would take over as the young Jean Gray in the next "X-Men" movie. With actors moving across time and frames, only their fans around the world would be in for a complete treat.
