‘The Flash’ Season 2 Update: New Love For Barry Allen, Too Soon For Iris West-Allen To Happen (Spoilers)
“The Flash” Season 2 will introduce at least one new character. She will be paired with Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen, whose love story with Iris West (Candice Patton) has to be set aside in order to mourn the loss of their hero, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett).
A new actress will join “The Flash” family for the show’s second season. Gustin said more new characters are coming, but Wendy Miller of Central City Police District could make a significant impact on his lovelife.
It remains to be seen whether Linda Park (Malese Jow) would return in "The Flash." It appears she and Barry already had a closure, but fans could convince the show bosses to bring the other third party back.
“Barry wants to be there for Iris as her best friend right now. And for Barry, too. It’s too soon for everybody,” Gustin told TVLine. The actor said Eddie’s death will be a significant factor in the second season of his show on The CW.
Grant Gustin his very first acting award at the recently held Saturn Awards. He won the Breakthrough Performance title based on his performance in the first season of “The Flash.”
