Florence and the Machine once again proved themselves credible of delivering great music due to the solid live performance of their MTV Unplugged album. It was one big risk for any artists as Florence laid her singing voice bare and naked, at its raw and purest form.

It went a little shaky for a start when she sang 'Only If For A Night' but she was able to open well with her ethereal voice quality. The succeeding tracks did not fail as well such as 'Cosmic Love' and 'Drumming Song.' She also made a cover of the song 'Try A Little Tenderness' with the acoustic touch making it stripped back at a pleasant note.

This was the song that expresses all her soul in music with the backup all playing subtle to let everyone hear all her huge notes. This is actually a rare recording for a live performance where you would not hear much of audiences applauding especially when the singer sings the very high notes.

'No Light, No Light' came with its smooth gothic approach as it was played with a harp, some strings, and a piano. If you would listen closely, it seemed there was even a gothic sounding tambourine in the background.

And as for the rest of the acoustic versions of their hit songs such as 'Dog Days Are Over' and 'Shake It Out', Florence and her sound machine truly emerged as an amazingly great artist.
