Foo Fighters Lead Vocalist David Grohl Breaks Leg During Concert In Sweden

Just like 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford, who was injured after being burned by pyrotechnic effects on Saturday, Foo Fighters also encountered a mishap at their concert on Friday when their vocalist David Grohl fell off the stage. Grohl promised they would return to finish the show.
On Friday night in Gothenburg, Sweden, the 46-year-old vocalist was injured after he fell off the stage. He then announced, "Now look! I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg." He added, "You have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters -- we're going to come back -- and finish this show."
A concert-goer shared a video footage on YouTube. Before Grohl asked his drummer to take over the show, he said, "Right now, I'm going to go to the hospital, I'm going to fix my leg, but then I'm going to come back."
As fans were waiting for another announcement, they feared that the band might cancel their show, according to The Guardian. The rest of the band caried on with the show, with Grohl returning for the final part. He played the guitar and sang while sitting in a chair with his leg in a cast. Later on, Time confirmed the Foo Fighters have cancelled two shows after the band tweeted, "Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing," accompanied by an X-ray image of their vocalist’s leg.
On June 25, the band will have a show in Beligium, and on June 26, they will appear at the Glastonbury 2015 in Pilton, United Kingdom. Since there is no update yet about the recovery of Grohl, some people ask if these upcoming concert tours will be cancelled soon. For updates, visit the band's official website.
The two cancelled shows were set on June 14 at Pinkpop Festival and on June 16 in Switzerland. Speaking of Pinkpop Festival, which is held in Netherlands, Dutch punk band John Coffey’s vocalist David Achter de Molen made an unforgettable moment as he caught a flying cup of beer, which was threw by a fan. After he caught a cup of beer, he drunk it like a boss.
