Sylvester Stallone was not able to go past the tight security of World Trade Center to visit the new downtown offices of Vogue. He and his model daughter, Sistine Rose Stallone ended up going home in vain. Security allegedly did not inform Vogue that the actor and his daughter, who were trying to meet the editors at the fashion bible, were there.

Page Six reports that Sylvester Stallone and his model daughter wasted a morning when they tried to visit Vogue at its new offices in 1 World Trade Center but could not get past the security. According to Conde Nast sources, Sistine, who is signed with Los Angeles Models and father were set on meeting Sara Moonves, who works as a contributing fashion editor at Vogue. Sara is also the daughter of Stallone’s longtime friend, Les Moonves. Unfortunately, trouble with security hindered the meeting from taking place.

"There was confusion about which entrance to use at 1 World Trade Center, then Sly and his group were held up at security. They couldn’t reach the right person at Vogue’s offices to get them immediate clearance to go straight up." the source explained.

Being the respectable actor that he is, Stallone did not make a scene. The source explained that Stallone and his daughter just waited for security to sort things out and just went home when it became clear that they would not be allowed to go up. Another source however claimed that Vogue never knew about the incident, because it was not informed by the security that the actor and his daughter were downstairs.

Sistine Stallone, even though not as widely known has her father yet, is already making waves in the fashion and modeling industry. Earlier this year, she graced Teen Vogue with several pages and gave an interview of how she is faring as a model and life being her famous father’s daughter. According to Teen Vogue, at 16, Sistine already has three editorial shoots under belt, a sight that she is starting to get recognized. The model however, humbly said that she knows her own fame is inherited from her dad. She shared that she has followers because of her father and when she get interviewed, she gets questions about her father all the time and his work.

Known for his line of movies related to boxing and action such as “Rambo,” “the Expendables” and “Rocky,” Sylvester also taught Sistine how to “throw a punch.” Asked though if she can see herself act like her father, she said modeling is more of her forte, crediting her mother for that talent. She however added that modeling can be considered acting, because models have to “change personalities.”
