Fresh iPhone 7 renders showcased by well-known case maker reveals design changes
Speculations suggest that the production of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have already begun in China. A reputable accessories maker has revealed fresh iPhone 7 renders.
GSM Arena has reported that it has exclusively received new renders of iPhone 7 from a popular case maker. However, the publication did not reveal the name of the accessories maker.
The iPhone 7 is shown in usual colors of iPhone 6S such as gold, silver, space gray and rose gold. Since Apple is expected to bring overhaul improvements to 2017 iPhone, the iPhone 7 models are expected to carry the same color scheme that is available on the iPhone 6S models.
The antenna bands are no longer present on the rear panel of iPhone 7. The two speaker grilles can be seen placed on the bottom side of the smartphone.
The Apple iPhone 5S that was released in 2013 also featured two grilles, one for its speaker and the other one for mic. The bottom side of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S models includes only one grille for the speaker.
The addition of two grilles on the bottom of iPhone 7 indicates that it will be coming with stereo speakers. Since it has two grilles, it does not feature a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The rumour mill has been consistently claiming since the end of last year that the iPhone 7 will not be featuring a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Speculations are rife that users will be able to connect wired headphones to the lightning port of the iPhone 7. The camera bump can be easily observed on the back panel of iPhone 7.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, the popular leakster, has tweeted that the new iPhone 7 renders are based on old CAD drawings. Hence, he has claimed that the renders are inaccurate. Since iPhone 7 release date is rumoured to happen in September, more photos of the alleged smartphone is expected to emerge in the near future.
