Early iPhone 7 release date as Apple ramps up staff hiring to build complex iPhone 7 design
Apple is expected to debut iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in fall this year. Fresh information suggest the suppliers of Apple are swiftly hiring more employees for building the upcoming iPhone 7 series.
Citing Economic Daily News from Taiwan as its source, CNBC has reported that Foxconn, an Apple supplier from the same country, has started a new job vacancy listing that states that it is in need of large number of workers aged between 18 to 40 to begin work immediately. The listing further reads that job seekers should hurry to apply.
The company has cautioned job applications by adding that since many applications are calling them, it’s hotline may remain busy. However, the job listing does not mention outright that it is hiring workers for building iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
The Taiwanese publication has reported that not only Foxconn but also another supplier of Apple, Pegatron is rapidly hiring more employees to build the next generation iPhones. Compared to previous years, Apple suppliers seem to have started recruiting employees at least a month earlier this year. Rumors have it that the upcoming iPhones will be sporting a complex design because of which Apple suppliers are hurrying the recruiting process.
Most iPhone 7 reports suggest that Apple may launch the smartphone in September this year. However, since Apple is now speculated to begin iPhone 7 production earlier than previous years, rumors are rife that the iPhone 7 release date will be set sooner this year. Other sources claim that the early hiring of employees only mean that Apple wants to produce more iPhone and iPhone 7 Plus units to avoid supply chain stock problems.
Recent rumors have hinted that the iPhone 7 models will be sporting similar design as the iPhone 6s models. Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst from KGI Securities has predicted that 2017 iPhones will launch as iPhone 8 and not as iPhone 7S. According to the analyst, the iPhone 8 will come with all-glass chassis and edge-to-edge display.
