‘Fuller House’: Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Will Not Be A Part Of ‘Full House’ Reboot
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not be seen as Michelle Tanner in the new Netflix series. Executive producer Robert L. Boyett revealed that they will not be a part of “Fuller House.”
“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” Boyett revealed in a statement via The Hollywood Reporter. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors.” Boyett added that he appreciates the Olsens good wishes and support for the upcoming revival series.
The new series will feature the original cast Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie, Candace Cameron Bure will appear as D.J., and Andrea Barber to appear as Kimmy Gibbler. Dave Coulier is set to play the character of Uncle Joey. Meanwhile, John Stamos is set to produce the show and appear as Uncle Jesse. He will appear as a guest character. Moreover, the show is in the process of bringing back stars like Lori Loughlin and Bob Saget.
“Full House” reboot is set to premiere in 2016 on Netflix. The show will start with Stephanie who is a budding musician and Kimmy with her teenage daughter, Ramona. They all move in together to take care of the two boys of D.J. – Max, who is a 7-year-old neurotic and J.D., who is 12 years old. Meanwhile, D.J. Tanner-Fuller is working as a vet and she is pregnant.
Meanwhile, the Olsen twins got their first break with “Full House.” They were nine months old when they became a part of the show. After this show, they were part two TV shows titled “So Little Time” and “Two of a Kind.”
