“Furious 8” actor Dwayne Johnson and “Dirty Grandpa” actor Zac Efron will be part of the cast of the film adaptation of the 90s TV series “Baywatch.” Among their co-stars is Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Kelly Rohrbach who will take on the role played by Pamela Anderson in the TV series.

Anderson played C.J. Parker in the “Baywatch” TV series from 1992 to 1997. The TV series premiered on NBC in 1989 but it was cancelled after one season due to low ratings.

In 1991, “Baywatch” TV series creators and executive producers Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Greg Bonann revived the show along with the lead star David Hasselhoff who played Mitch Buchannon from 1989 to 2000. It went on to become one of the most watched TV shows in the world.

Johnson and Efron’s roles in the “Baywatch” film have yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, the former is set to reprise his role as Hobbs in “Furious 8” while the latter is set to star in “Dirty Grandpa” opposite Robert De Niro along with a reprise of his role as Teddy Sanders in “ Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.”

Before playing C.J. Parker in the “Baywatch” film, Rohrbach made her acting debut in the 2012 film “Wilt” and has appeared in several TV series including “The New Normal,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Rush” and “Deadbeat.” From 2013 to 2015, she played Jayne Duncan in “The PET Squad Files.”

Recently, Rohrbach also landed a supporting role in an upcoming Woody Allen film, which is yet to be titled. The actress and model is represented by Untitled Entertainment, WME and IMG Models, according to Variety.

Along with Berk, Schwartz and Bonnan, Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman will serve as producers of the “Baywatch” film. Through their Seven Bucks Productions banner, Johnson and his partner, Dany Garcia, will also produce the film.

Johnson and Garcia welcomed their first baby together on Dec. 16, 2015, E! News reports. A source told the publication that the wrestler-turned-actor was very emotional when he saw the baby for the first time.
