“Furious 8” actor Dwayne Johnson, 43, and long-time girlfriend Lauren Hashian, 31, welcomed a baby girl on Dec. 16, Wednesday. The two have been dating since 2007 after the wrestler-turned-actor and Dany Garcia, 47, divorced.

The baby girl is the first child of Hashian and the “Furious 8” actor together. However, the latter and his former wife have a daughter named Simone Johnson, 14.

When he saw his newborn daughter for the first time, Dwayne was very excited and emotional, a source told E! News. The source also said both the mother and the baby are doing well.

In an interview with Esquire in August, Johnson talked about his relationship with Hashian and his daughter Simone. He said, “I've lived with my longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, going on, like, eight, nine years now. We spend a lot of time with my daughter in Florida, Simone."

“We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter isn't mentioned,” Johnson added. He went on to say he always likes making sure they find the balance and his home life, Hashian and Simone are there.

Before reprising his role as Hobbs in “Furious 8,” Dwayne has several projects in 2016. He is set to star in the comedy film “Central Intelligence” and the comedy animation film “Moana.”

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, “Central Intelligence” stars Dwayne opposite “The Wedding Ringer” actor Kevin Hart and “Breaking Bad” alum Aaron Paul. In “Moana,” Dwayne will lend his voice to the character named Maui with Auli’I Cravalho lending her voice to the title character.

In 2017, Dwayne will star in Brad Peyton’s action film “Rampage,” in Seth Gordon’s comedy film “Baywatch” and in F. Gary Gray’s action film “Furious 8” with Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez. Dwayne will also star in the 2019 action film "Shazam!"
