2 Chainz has withdrawn his scheduled appearance at the Future Music Festival in Australia after he was denied entry the country. The American rapper was pulled from the line-up after he was unable to secure a visa to travel Australia.

“After long discussions and a lot of work on both sides on visa requirements, we’ve been regrettably advised that 2 Chainz is unable to travel to Australia at this time. Both parties are disappointed,” the festival’s organisers wrote on Facebook.

2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, was announced to be part of the line-up for the FMF 2014 in September, along with Deadmau5, Phoenix, Rudimental, Hardwell, Knife Party, and Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis. He was scheduled to perform on March 1 when the festival kicks off in Brisbane.

However, as it happened, he won’t be able to do that now.

This isn’t the first time that 2 Chainz has been forced to cancel an Australian show.

In 2013, he also cancelled his appearance at the Movement Festival due to visa eligibility requirements, in addition to a pending court case. The details of his case weren’t specified, although he was arrested in earlier in February for possession of marijuana in Maryland.

Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams has been announced to join the line-up that also includes dozens of other acts.

FMF 2014 will commence on March 1 in Brisbane, and will head on to Perth on March 2, Sydney on March 8, Melbourne on March 9, and Adelaide on March 10.
