Get ready for some shootin', slashin,' and strategizin' action as Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Defiance, and Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves are heading your way as new releases for the week.

Defiance

A sci-fi shooter from Trion Worlds, Defiance is an open-world MMO that works in tandem with a TV show to be featured in Syfy Channel.

The Defiance DLC is also available as a pre-order. The expansion pack will allow you to take on playable aliens, get more weapons and vehicles, and take on more missions, reports Massively.

As if that wasn't enough, Trion is already preparing its TV tie-in with the game, as well. In fact, a trailer has already been released by Syfy Channel, with the actual show debuting on April 15. Check out the trailer for the show here.

Defiance is set for release on April 2 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

Take on the game via Hayabusa's perspective with Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, which will also feature new modes, gameplay, and more intense battle scenes.

According to Polygon, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge will feature new weapons, Ninpo powers, and 100 Ninja trials, powerful Dual swords, shock waves, and a Lunar staff, to name a few.

A female playable ninja character, Ayane, will also boast new killing weapons and techniques. If you're one of the players who have already enjoyed some of the Chapter Challenge mode that will unlock some stages, you'll be happy to know that the Karma and Ninja skills that you've acquired can be transferred to the full version, reports Siliconera.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is heading to the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on April 2 in North America and April 5 in Europe.

Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves

Strength and strategy are your main allies for Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves, which takes you back to the time of two brothers hell-bent on saving their sister from being pursued by the devil.

Here you'll be hunting down enemies, exploring forests and taking advantage of the environment to make sure that you have the upper hand over your enemies. The most fun activity is creating different traps that could be used for several enemies, and you have to make sure that proper placement is achieved, reports Destructoid.

According to Steam, you'll also be playing with fear and using it as your own weapon in this 19th century universe, where you can take on one of the O'Carroll brothers during the game.

Pre-order your copy and save 10%, plus you will also receive immediate access to the beta version.

Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves will be available on the PC starting April 5.
