Best known for his role as Jon Snow in HBO’s epic fantasy series “Game of Thrones,” Kit Harrington warned fans for a “shocking season” ahead of the Season 5 premiere. Now that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is finally free from The Hound and Tyrion Lannister (Perter Dinklage) is off for a new start, the race for the Iron Throne is getting bloodier every season.

In his interview with Radio Times, the British star explained that “Game of Thrones” series creator D.B. Weiss and David Benioff tend to go “story season then shocking season,” and Season 5 is definitely a “shocking season.”

On a brighter side, the actor quipped that Jon Snow is “inexplicably over-the-moon” this upcoming season and he is going to have a dance number. But based on HBO’s short clip, Jon Snow is going to face a lot of danger as he comes in between Mance Ryder and Stannis Baratheon.

"The world has just got bigger and bigger and we are going to move into the world towards Dawn a lot more and introduce a lot of new characters there," according to Michael McElhatton, also known as Roose Bolton, in an interview with Mirror. "There's a lot of shocks particularly for the book readers. There are things that happen now that aren't in the books."

Dean-Charles Chapman, who plays the young King Tommen, agreed with his co-star and revealed that he doesn’t know what’s going on now because of too many characters. He admitted that Tommen is finally going to tie the knot with Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), but in the world of “Game of Thrones” “things don’t turn out quite right.”

Alfie Allen, who plays the tortured Rick/Theo Greyjoy, promises more shocking scenes, as if Tyrion killing his own father, Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance), is not enough for a killer plot twist. He added that he would like to see how the showrunners can push the whole show into the dark side. He concluded his interview wishing that his character might be able to see the “light at the end of the tunnel.”

“Game of Thrones” Season 5 premieres on HBO on April 12, Sunday. The show also stars Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger), Carce van Houten (Melisandre), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth).
